Abstract
Presentation aims to describe assessment of gramatical awareness as a way to identify children with specific language impairment. Introduces original test batery for assessing gramatical awareness in preschol age.
Based on results from one year follow up study of Czech preschool children provides also a picture of performance in measures of gramatical awareness in case of Czech preschool children.
