Abstrakt
The article studies methodological problems relating to the research in the field of expressive syntax, regarded as one of the levels of translational equivalence. It raises the question about the adequacy of certain types of translational transformations, which break the syntactic wholeness of the translation unit.
It also explores the challenges of translating expressive syntactical constructions from the standpoint of the equivalence at the communicative-pragmatic level.
