The chapter aims to describe the culture transfer of religious ideas and missionary strategies from the American Board in Boston in Central Europe. The cooperation between three American missionaries and Czech pastors of the Free Reformed Church in Prague in 1880s and 1890s was approachable but on the other side the group of Czech pastors started to influence the leadership of the Free Reformed Church.
Thatsway their synergy started to be complicated. The situation was discussed on the annual church conferences where also the costs for the internal mission were critized (f.e. 1912).
Suprisingly Alois Adlof, although he is commemorated as a big missionary too, did not intervene in the discussion.
