Abstract
Portraits of 10 Romani authors (CR, Slovakia, Austria), summarizing the information on the life and works of the chosen authors. In line with the educational purpose of the book, this information is presented in the context of post-war (and pre-war) history of the Roma and the history of the developments of romani literature in CR.
The portraits intentionally alsou touch in the questions of identity, attitudes to Romani language and the attitudes (and stereotypes) of the majority society. Large quotations are use to illustrate the individual attitudes and themes.
