Abstract
This pedagogical publication is focused on Romani history and culture with accent on the former Czechoslovakia. One part is structured into four units:The beginning of discovering Romani history, Roma in Byzance and medieval Europe, Roma in Czech lands and Hungary in 18. and 19.
Centuries, Roma in Czech lands and Slovakia in the period 1918-1989. In these units is chronologicaly explained a history of Roma people living in Czech Republic and Slovakia today.
To its explanatory part is attached a recomended bibliography.
