This paper aims to introduce and outline the current progress of research focused on the use of electronic portfolio as a tool for evaluating and developing pupil in the school environment. Survey is carried out at secondary technical schools and is divided into two major phases.
The first, already implemented part focuses on the question of school readiness for deployment of new technologies for evaluation and cooperation of pupils, in this case of a system for managing electronic portfolios Mahara cooperating with the virtual learning environment Moodle, which schools using. Second part prepares implementation of Mahara at one of the participating schools and its integration into teaching in context with the main direction of the examination through the educational portal UMÍM.TO.
