Abstract

The study deals briefly with stereotypes about nuns across the thought of Late Middle Ages and early modern era and also analyses on several chosen plays, how these stereotypes manifested themselves in the drama of the second half of 18th century, influenced by both the Enlightenment and French Revolution.
