Abstract
The book brings detailed information on geological history and palaeontological background of the Czech Republic. A huge amount of data is presented here for the first time including palaeontological reconstructions, stratigraphical columns or current state of palaeontological localities.
The results reflect a multidisciplinary experience of the team of authors which are all members of the Institute of Geology and Palaeontology at Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague.
