Abstract
The chapter refers to gender bias in communication between medical personal and patients and communication within medical staffs (doctors and nurses). The chapter includes the introduction to gender theory and further the summary of research results in this field.
The Czech and international research show that there gender patterns exist in extensions, contents and tools of medical communication.
