In the first part of the study, the author presents a comparison of the two novels in which the question of invisibility proves to be a central one: Havlíček's Neviditelný and H. G.

Wells' The Invisible Man. In the second part, he analyses Havlíček's novel wioth the reference to the "panoramatic" structure of Hajn's house.
