Abstract
Lyme borreliosis is a multi-organ infectious disease caused by spirochetes of the Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato group. Most of the time, these bacteria are transmitted infected ticks of the genus Ixodes.
This infection can been in progress either asymptomatic or symptomatic with very various clinical manifestations.
