One-day antibacterial prophylaxis for prostate biopsy

Abstract

Transrectal prostate biopsy is basic procedure ihn the suspicion on the prostate cancer. The autors present own experiences with oral quinulones given as prophylaxis.According to our results it is proventhat one-day antibacterial prophylaxis is efficient and safe in prostate biopsy.
