Bio-degradable stents. A clever tool to overcome the drawbacks of 'standard treatment' of refractory stenoses

Abstract

Bio-degradable stents can be introduced by means of balloon-assisted endoscopy. They seem to be a new promising methods for the non-surgical treatment of benign intestinal stenoses.
