Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma as a very severe and lethal complication of liver cirrhosis has increasing incidence. Resection or liver transplantation is treatment of choice in early stages.
Advanced disease is associated with very poor prognosis. Sorafenib as a tyrosinkinase inhibitor is only a treatment which prolong survival in those patients.
