Abstract
An interdisciplinary international conference on obscurity in medieval texts, both Latin and vernacular. It focused on the characters and ways of both creating and receiving particular textual obscurities throughout the Middle Ages, on the variety of contexts where obscurity appears and the possibilities of approaching, defining, and interpreting it.
