The Press Law No. 81/1966 as a Turning Point of the Czechoslovakian Media System

Abstract

The study investigates basic principles, legislative framework and control methods of the press and media as such in Czechoslovakia in the middle of the 60ties with main attention paid to issue how Communist party of Czechoslovakia developed and administered the new media legislation - new complex pres law No. 81/1966.
