Abstract

Christianity and Islam in the Liberal State: Tradition and the Present Day Challenges is a collective monograph published by a research team at the Catholic Theological Faculty in the Charles University in Prague. Component chapters are organized into four parts.

Part One includes theological reflections on plurality and diversity in contemporary world. Part Two includes studies of the sacred texts and traditions.

Part Three analyzes and comments on various aspects of Christianity in the liberal state and Part Four brings studies on the relationship between Islam and the liberal state.
