Organised crime in Russia and its changes after the dissolution of the Soviet Union - the end of one era

Publication at Faculty of Social Sciences |
2011

Abstract

In the text, I merely ponder about what the main causes and forms of organised crime modernisation are in Russia. In connection with the dissolution of the Soviet Union, major social changes occurred.

In 1991, though, the country not only broke up, but its entire criminal word changed, too. In the text, I seek answers to the most important question relating to the changes of functioning and traditions of organised crime in the Russian federation.

I also give much space to the issue of corruption, witch is closely related to organised crime.
