Abstract
The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the anticancer effect od L-rhamnose and its pharmacokinetics in healthy and cholestatic rats. Moreover, the ability of the rhamnose/melibiose permeability test to detect the impairment of blood-biliary bareer in cholestasis is tested.
