Prognostic value of N-Terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide in patients with severe acute decompensated heart failure

Abstract

In the study in patients with severe acute decompensade heart failure, authors assessed plasma NT-proBNP levels and analyzed short- and long-term mortality. The authors proved, that increased plasma NT-proBNP level lsignificantly correlated with 7-day, 28-day and 1-year mortality.
