Abstract

53-years-old patient underwent nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma. In the next year thyroid gland was examined because of dyspnoea and palpitation.

Two nodules in the right lobe and one nodule in the left lobe were discovered by ultrasound. Fine-needle aspiration biopsy demonstrated oncocytic cell (Hürthle cell) carcinoma in the right node and clear cell renal carcinoma on the left node.

Total thyroidectomy was done and histopathologic diagnosis of metastasis of renal cell carcinoma in invasive oncocytic cell carcinoma was made
