Abstract
NGOs play an important role in supporting and assuring of human rights. Some NGOs co-operate with state/governmental nonprofit organizations, e.g. in the area of social work, others keep absolute independence from state and propose new, unconventional or alternative methods.
NGOs have privilege role in hospice movement in the Czech Republic.
