Cyclosporine A versus cyclophosphosphamide in proliferative lupus nephritis: contribution of regional centre to the multicentre, open, randomized and controlled study CYCLOFA-LUNE

Abstract

Within years 2002-2007 22 SLE patients with biopsy-proven LN were detected, but only 13 (59,1%) in class III/IV. From this subgroup only 4 patients were included into the C-L study.

Remission was induced using both (i.c. CSA ir CPM) protocols, but only temporary in 3 of 4 long-term follow-up patients.

Further studies are necessary.
