The influence of vaginal ecosystem upon complications of pregnancy

Abstract

There is a relationship between ecosystem, especially its microbiological part, and preterm labourand the possibility of development of severe infectious complications in newborn and in mother as well. Early diagnosis and targeted therapy of subclinical infections will be the way of prevention and treatment of preterm labour.
