Abstract
Latex allergy is IgE-mediated hypersenzitivity to protein of natural rubber latex. Its manifestation can be urticaria, angiooedema, rhinitis, bronchospasm or anaphylaxis.
It can be also mediated by IV. type of immune response. The main source of latex alergen, the main danger population and posibility of diagnosis are mentioned in this article.
