Presently, no standardized method as a specific instrument for assessing health-related quality of life after menopause is being applied in Czech clinical practice. In this study three methods are examined to the end the Utian Quality of Life Scale (UQOL), the Menopause Rating Scale (MRS) and the SF-36 health survey questionnaire.
UQOL and MRS are being standardized for the Czech female population. Standardization of the Czech version of questionnaires is carried out in practice following 'contemplations out loud', reflections of clients and methods of filling them out.
