Abstract
Review of systemic, diagnostic possibilities and therapeutic access to inflammatory myopathies, especially polymyositis and dermatomyositis. Differential diagnostics of metabolic, infective or enzymopathic myopathy is stressed.
Diagnostic and prognostic usefullness of autoantibodies is referred. Relevance of complex therapy including rehabilitation therapy is emphasized.
