Assessment of subjective visual functions after cataract removal in patients older 80 years

Abstract

Subjective evaluation of visual functions after cataract surgery by patients of the 80 years and older. The authors evaluate the benefits of the cataract surgery for old patients.

Best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) before operation, on the first postoperative day and 6 and 18 months after surgery were assessed.
