Abstract

Double immunostaining performed in paraffin-embedded sections of human astrocytomas and myocardial infarctions of nestin and endothelial markers CD31, CD34 II and vimentin permitted to distinguish nestin+ endothelial cells from other vascular and perivascular elements and confirmed nestin expression in endothelium.
