Luhmann reads Husserl

Abstract

This is a critical reading of Luhmann's interpretation of Husserl's work. It shows that Luhmann rightly marks some crucial points in Husserl's philosophy but also that he does not consider them radically enough.

The central thesis of this article is that one can achieve a more radical position - together with Husserl but also against him - by examining deeper some central questions of Husserl's philosophy.
