Selected Acute Effects of Ultraviolet Radiation on Organism

Abstract

Ultraviolet radiation (UV) may significantly affect human health. Long term exposure to UV radiation causes in organism many acute changes which extent and intensity is being modified by individual factors.

The aim of this work is the view of current experiences with mechanisms of acute effect of UV radiation on organism.
