Abstract
This work is aimed on encapsulation of PC-12 cells into the semipermeable polymer capsules and their implantation into the brain of laboratory animals. We were interested in survival of cells inside the capsules and the biocompatibility of polymer materials (HEMA-EMA, HEMA-tBMAAm) with brain tissue.
