Abstract
The research of programmes in the field of multicultural education came to existence as a reaction on the situation in the Czech Republic, where we see many educational programmes existing next to each other, all of them aiming at cultivating of multicultural tolerance. These programmes differ in their theoretical backgrounds, activities as well as working with various target groups.
