The effect od terlipressin in the prevention on circulatory changes in comparison with albumin after paracentesis of a tense ascites - randomized multicentric study

Abstract

Terlipssin administration in the dosis of 1 mg every 4 hours after large volume paracentesis was comparable effective with recommended albumin administration in the prevention of undesirable effects on circulatory system. This new method is well tolerated and financially more favorable.
