Abstract
Work is focused on the characterization of expressions of transporters MRP2 and MDR1, other hepatic markers, intermediate filaments cytokeratins and nestin in the fetal and adult rat and human liver tissue and on the cultivation of WRL 68 cell line with a view to compare their antigenic profile with that of fetal human hepatocytes in situ and to find the most suitable composition of culture medium for their long-term three-dimensional cultivation and their differentiation in vitro.
