Alternative scenarios of landscape development as a part of participatory approach to landscape planning

Abstract
Four alternative scenarios of possible future development of the landscape (integrated, segregation, exploitation and attenuation) were prepared as the basis for participatory preparation of the final strategic vision for the country in the framework of the European Landscape Convention. The scenarios were developed in response to the earlier SWOT analysis of the landscape and its use.
Presented paper presents the background and characteristics of the different scenarios and presents the current results of their discussions.
