Abstrakt
Malnutrition is frequent in oncologic patients. Nutrition supports is therefore mandatory.
The chapter explains principles of energy metabolism and cachexia in cancer patients. Moreover is gives an information about needs of macronutrients and micronutrients in patients with oncological disease.
