Abstract
The study contains a brief sketch of the contemporary situation of specialized archives in the Czech archival network, the list of their most important digitization projects (from author's point of view) and more detailed description of the digitization in the Archives of Charles University. A special attention is paid to the problem of digital documents in connection with the personal records.
