University Anniversaries and University Archives. The Centennaries of the Universities in Prague and Leipzig as a Chance for the University Archives

Abstrakt
The study is focused on the common aspects of the role of university archives in the preparations and course of the university anniversaries. The examples of Leipzig and Prague are used for this purpose - both universities have an old tradition reaching the middle age foundings, but the anniversaries were in the past often influenced by the contemporary political conditions.
