In her book describes the life of Czech Jews in 1939-1945 in the context of racial laws, not imperial, but also those issued by the Protectorate government. It reveals the active role of the Czech authorities - the protectorate government, autonomous organizations and local government in anti-Jewish policy.
Refutes the myth that the protectorate government resisted pressure to publish anti-Semitic Nazi occupiers regulations and vice versa demonstrated its readiness to implement their anti-Jewish policy. It reveals the true motivation, which under the slogan of national confidence led to the exclusion of Jews from the legal profession, medicine and other areas shortly after 15 March 1939.
The publication also provides individual stories of victims of "solving the Jewish question" in the Protectorate, and reveals the different attitudes of the population to the fate of the Jews.
