Abstract

This paper deals with the use of social networking and mobile applications, such as representatives of new media in marketing communications of professional sports clubs. The main aim of this paper is a comparison of Czech professional football and hockey clubs in the area of foreign use of new communication media.

The processing method was used ad hoc monitoring official websites and social networks of individual entities. The paper presents the results of the monitoring and other bases for new media, particularly on social networks and mobile communications.
