Abstrakt
Trafic noise in urban areas in Europe is a major environmental stressor. In this study we present a method for predicting how environmental noise can be expected to develope in the future.
In the project HEIMTSA sceanrios werw developed for all relevant environmental stressor to health, for all source sectors and stressors, including air polution and noise. Results are presented for 2020 and 2030 in terms of numbers of people exposed to noise, nealth impacts such as annoyance ans sleep disturbance, disability adjusted life years, and health impact costs.
