Renal replacement therapy in critically ill patients

Abstract

This article aims to summarise the key principles of renal replacement therapy management and application in critically ill patients - its timing, methods, anticoagulation management and drug dosing. A short review of the non-renal indications for renal replacement therapy is provided as well.
