America and the world: conversations on the future of American foreign policy

Abstract

The review analyzes a book consisting largely of a set of interviews between two experienced American diplomats, Zbigniew Brzezinski and Brent Scowcroft, moderated in 2008 by David Ignatius. In these interviews, Brzezinski and Scowcroft present their views of the international relations, of the major challenges that the United States faces and of the foreign policy course that the new president should follow.
