Abstract
The integral part of teaching of any foreign language is a social and cultural transmission, which relates to cultural studies of concrete language area. The aim of this paper is a description of how is perceived culture of French-speaking countries by students of Gymnasium, how is the formation of general ideas influenced and how this educational content reflects in the Framework education programme for Gymnasium in the form of cross-sectionnal theme multicultural education
