Abstract
The popularization of combat sports and some martial arts grew up in the past thirty years. We were able to meet mainly with the teaching of judo, karate and aikido.
This concept is also used in education. In this time there is much more martial arts and combat sports, they are in the world more popular and more attractive for spectators.
This book describes the basic characteristics of the most famous combat sports, their history and current structure, and partly describes the rules of combat sports.
