Abstract

This paper deals with deeper analysis of social networks and their possible use in a project teaching from several views. Paper looks at the social networks both as a specific type of Web services reflecting on current trends in Internet usage, as well as the type of teaching tools, respectively kind of LMS / LCMS (Learning Management System / Learning Content Management System).

This paper deals with the educational aspects of the social network for use in collaborative project and in particular forms of teaching with the constructivist approach. Paper also demonstrates the potential use of social networking example of interactive web applications designed to support project-based learning using ICT, particularly in the area of ​​multimedia, and neinformatických subjects.

This application was developed specifically to support teaching and its development was based on the trends of contemporary educational theory with regard to technical aspects of the didactic teaching of the ICT.
