Abstract
The new revision of Hrbek's translation with Kropacek's translation of Muqaddima (p. 33-43), Preface (p. 7-31) and Bibliography (113-118). New adaptation of the Czech translation of the famous story by the 12th century Arab Andalusian author, completed with detailed information on reflections of this story of a self-taught philosopher in the European literatures and philosophy of the last fifty years.
