Abstract
The paper studies the mystagogical preaching of the early Church. At first it describes mystagogy as a method of theology from the Church Fathers' writings.
A short presentation of the most important mystagogical treatises follows. At the end, the paper shows how mystagogy can become a tool of inculturation in today's teaching of catechumens and Christians.
