Comparison of positive and negative ion detection of tea catechins using tandem mass spectrometry and ultra high performance liquid chromatography

Abstrakt

An ultra-fast UHPLC technique with tandem mass spectrometry detection was developed for the analysis of eight catechins. The sensitivity in positive and negative ion mode was compared.

The method was validated and applied for real analysis of tea samples.
